To the Editor

THE KINGDOM OF CHRIST, April 17, showed balance with respect to Christ's historicity. While Christ's church (headed by Christ's brother James and his other brothers and relatives) refused to deify Jesus, as your article points out at the top of page 53, nonetheless, most people don't realize that it continued to flourish until the mid 300's

In the early 300's, Emperor Constantine became a follower of the Church (established by Peter and Paul). Sensing that the deep divisions among the churches (regarding Christ's nature) were affecting the unity of his empire, he ordered all bishops in the empire to appear at a council held in Nicaea.

Constantine insisted that once this Council was over, there was to be unity among all the bishops. The Church with a majority of bishops voted to make Jesus the son of God and equal to God, but some bishops (Arius and others) asked Athanasius and his group: "If we make Jesus the son of God and equal to God, that would make him innascent. How could two persons be innascent?" Not one bishop had an answer, but to please Constantine, they deified Jesus. The Church established by Christ's brothers and relatives refused to deify Jesus, and from the mid 300's to the mid 400's they were either starved to death or slaughtered by Roman soldiers at the request of the bishops who went along with the deification of Jesus, the current church.

History is written by the victors, not the vanquished.

To: All Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court March 8, 2006

Subject: Roe v. Wade

I am sure you are inundated with tons of mail on this subject, and therefore, I am hoping somehow, this letter will reach each one of you before the Nebraska case is heard.

I approach this subject from a "Divine" perspective, that is, how does God view the question of abortion? To me, it is rather simple. We must determine what it is that God ordains. And then ask whether we wish to comply with what God ordains.

Today, we believe that God has ordained that blacks have a soul contrary to what the Supreme Court had "ordained" in the Dred Scott decision.

Human life (its body and its soul) is a continuum. God has ordained that the beginning of this continuum is the "spark of life" that occurs when human sperm unites with the human egg and both lose their identities and together become something entirely different and new.

To say that human life begins in the second trimester, would be likened to a lawyer defending the arsonist by saying that the nine story building burned down, not by the spark his client created when striking the match, nor by the match that became a flame that ignited the gasoline he previously poured throughout the first story, nor by the fact that the first three stories became engulfed in flames as a result, but by the fact that the fire had its beginning at the fourth story because that is when the fire became viable, not when his client struck the match, and therefore, his client should be set free. The judge would laugh the defendant's attorney out of Court, and just as surely, God "will laugh" the Supreme Court out of Heaven for using an identical argument.

Just as blacks have souls (whether or not the Supreme Court agrees), so too, life begins when God has ordained it to begin (whether or not the Supreme Court agrees). To my knowledge, no Supreme Court decision has ever been overturned by another Court, including the Dred Scott decision which was overturned by a Constitutional Amendment, but stare decisis is a lame excuse when applied to Divine laws, because you will be affirming the previous Court's intrusion into Divine law by rendering unto Caesar, that which belongs to God.

Women have rights, but unfortunately, those rights are trumped by God's rights. You can ignore God's rights, and if God ignores you, you have yourselves to blame. I have always wished and prayed that God would allow everyone into Heaven because no one should be denied such an awesome and eternal reward. The fact is, however, God's justice is righteous, and all of us have been given the gift of free will, and therefore, we are all held responsible for how we exercise it - in accordance with God's will, or in defiance of it.

Respectfully yours,

EVERYBODY WANTS TO GO TO HEAVEN BUT NOBODY WANTS TO DIE

My Sicilian grandfather was a philosopher/coal miner and I remember him saying: "Everybody wants to go to Heaven but nobody wants to die."

We want peace in the world, but we don't want to remove the root causes. To remove the root causes requires that we die to the old paradigms, and face the reality that only new paradigms can bring world peace. We are stuck in a rut with no chance of getting out - unless we "die" to those old paradigms.

How long will it take to understand this? How long will we continue to tolerate chaos in the global community? Sometime down the road we will wake up and see that the old paradigms must give way to the new ones. Will that point down the road be too late?

Since God doesn't need planet earth to remain perfect, planet earth is free to do what is right and establish new paradigms that create peace, or to stick with the old ones, thereby destroying itself.

Re: The Committee to Safeguard the People and the Land of Israel Advertisement (9/12/05 {PageA11)

My Dear Brothers,

You can't have it both ways, that God is the author of the Bible, but not of certain portions. You say the Bible supports your claim that God gave the land of Israel to the Jewish people. But the same Bible portrays God as a genocidal maniac (1Samuel 15:3), portrays God as less than omnipotent (God "rested" on the seventh day, or as some contend, God simply stopped creating to view His works, which contradicts God''s omniscience and immutability by suggesting He changed from creating to not creating. God is pure act and never in potentiality, else God is not God.)

So is the Bible really God's Word, or the word of human beings? If it is God's Word, then according to the Bible God is not omnipotent, not immutable, and a genocidal maniac. I know you don't believe this, but that's what it is portraying.

Let us not blaspheme God by attributing to Him words that He would never utter - if He could. It is against God's nature to speak. God is pure spirit with no admixture of matter, which is required to create audible sounds. The best we can do is allow that God inspired some people to write things of Him and His creation. For those inspired writings, let us give Him praise and glory, since they came from Him. No need to throw out the baby with the bath water.

And so, I ask you, do you think it honors Our Creator to squabble over dirt? Not only the people of Israel, but our brother Palestinians, our brother terrorists, and all of God's creatures from all parts of the world, need the spiritual waters that flow from Heaven. Our desire should not be to worship dirt or to fight over dirt. Our desire must be to do what God expects of us - to bring those spiritual waters to the spiritually thirsty - everywhere.

DEUT 6:5 Therefore, you shall love the LORD, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength.

LEV 19:18 Take no revenge and cherish no grudge against your fellow countrymen. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.

LEV 19:34 You shall treat the alien who resides with you no differently than the natives born among you; have the same love for him as for yourself; for you too were once aliens in the land of Egypt. I, the LORD, am your God.

We are "all" losing precious time and resources when we battle over dirt, instead of, battling a spirit that aims to redirect humanity away from the Lord our God. I hope you accept these words with the same love with which they were given,

Your brother,

Re: 12/20/03 Article by Edward Rothstein's Reason and Fath, Eternally Bound

Mr. Rothstein's attempt to shed light on the debate between reason and faith, seems to shed darkness on this serious subject.

He did not address the real problem. For example, faith tells people that God rested on the seventh day. Reason tells people that if God were omnipotent, it would be blasphemous to state that God needed to rest.

Those of faith state that God is three persons. Those of reason state that even Thomas Aquinas in his Summa Theologica brilliantly proves that God is not of a composition (not made up of parts), and consequently, God could not be composed of three persons.

To quote William Shakespeare: "This above all; to thine own self be true" applies to those of us who truly seek to be one with God, in this life and for all eternity. By throwing away the gift of reason, we cannot be true to ourselves because without it, we cannot discern the difference between truth and falsity. Without reason, the object of faith, instead of being the Creator, will be the created, whether it is a created object or a created myth.

Immediate Release 12/12/03CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRATS HAVE NOWHERE TO GO

Brookline, N.H. - Carmen C. Chimento said "we Conservative or Reagan

Democrats have nowhere to go but to Ralph Nader or George Bush."

Chimento used poker hands to describe his dilemma. "We Democrats have a full house with respect to social issues such as Medicare, the economy, and the unfavorable job market. However, with respect to the response to the events of 9/11 where we lost several thousand innocent civilians, by going after the terrorists in their own back yards, George Bush has four of a kind, and we all know that four of a kind beats a full house."

Chimento concluded: "Therefore, it saddens my Democratic heart to say that I am leaning toward voting for a president who has four of a kind, and I don't mean to imply that all the Democratic candidates are Nevelle Chamberlain clones.

"When I finally make my decision on which candidate I will support, I will also announce the death of the mysterious Deep Throat of Watergate fame."

Chimento was the third candidate in the closest U.S. Senate race in history.
