The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins is a vacuous attempt to disprove the existence of God.

Mr. Dawkins fails to note that if God did not exist, Mr. Dawkins could not even conceptualize that Being (God) Whom he is trying to prove does not exist. If that Being did not exist, how is it possible to conceptualize what does not exist.

Mr. Dawkins argues that he can conceptualize a unicorn even though a unicorn does not exist. But that is false. Mr. Dawkins is not conceptualizing a non-existent unicorn, he is conceptualizing what he has been taught or shown is a unicorn. He is conceptualizing "an image" of a unicorn.

If he was not taught or shown what a unicorn looks like, there is no way that he could conceptualize a non-existent thing or being, such as a unicorn. In the same way, he can conceptualize a Harry Potter character, but only based on what he has read.

What he has read or learned about unicorns and Harry Potter characters already existed in the minds of others and were transferred to the minds of those who read or are shown what these characters look like.

Those who write about non-existent creatures, are merely taking from their imaginations, bits and pieces of beings and their traits that already exist, and creating an imagined composite creature, such as a unicorn, that does not exist, except in the imagination.

But when it comes to God, the Infinite and Eternal being, no one can conceptualize for others because God is a pure non-spatio/temporal being, and therefore, is a non-transferrable concept, incapable of being captured in the imagination.

The Infinite and the Eternal, by definition, cannot be contained in the finite and temporal. Since Mr. Dawkins cannot grasp the infinite and eternal, he therefore concludes, God is a delusion.

How sad!
