NOTE: The following question has been asked by political leaders, movie stars, and others. I prefer to answer it up front, to minimize the correspondence regarding this question. The question is:
"Can you give us instructions on how we can experience an NDE, or Near Death Experience?" I was asked this question yesterday: "How can I see God face-to-face as you have?"
The first thing to remember is that to see God in this life, as God really is, and not through smoked glass, and not to be consumed by God's Infinite Love and Light - is purely a gift. We do not earn it.
The second thing to remember is that you must desire God, and you must have a degree of "desirelessness" regarding earthly things and pleasures. We can achieve desirelessness, but it doesn't mean we have arrived at the Beatific Vision or the Sight of God. But when we witness the Beatific Vision or the Sight of God, we are in a state of desirelessness. God is the one Who chooses to manifest Himself to us. It is not we who manifest ourselves to God.
In my book "A Vision of God, Christ's Real Passion", I present you with all the "ammunition" necessary to get you as close to God as you possibly can get. In my book Beyond the Universe, I prepare you with the background you will need, or put another way, I hope to prepare the soil (your soul) for the planting of the spiritual seeds.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
My books answer many other questions, too numerous to include in this section.
2. Does God talk to people to explain His truths or for any other reasons? Answer
3. Why does the Bible refer to God speaking, such as to Moses and others, where God is speaking in long sentences and paragraphs, giving specific instructions about physical things, such as in Genesis, Chapter 6? Answer
4. Based on this proof that God cannot speak, what does this mean concerning the accuracy of the Bible when they make claims that God is speaking, when in fact, He cannot speak? Answer
5. Since the Old Testatment can be proven to contain hundreds of passages that are diametrically opposed to God's nature, and must therefore be read "with a grain of salt", what are your feelings concerning the New Testament, specifically as they relate to Christ? Answer
*******
6. Even though your arguments that Jesus was not God are backed up by logic, and Scripture shows that Jesus never claimed to be God, people still insist that Jesus claimed to be God because of the things that he said and that Paul said. How do we answer them? Answer
7. If the trinity is a false doctrine, and if Jesus was simply a prophet, what will happen to those billions of souls who have believed these doctrines, those souls who now believe, and those who will believe in the future? Answer
8. In your book Beyond the Universe, you have proven that Jesus was not God, that the trinity is a false doctrine, and that God is one, innascent, omnipotent, infinitely just and merciful, and so on, now what? Answer
9 In your book "Beyond the Universe" you reference a book by Father James A. Weisheipl,O.P. in which he states that Thomas Aquinas ceased all writings including the cessation of his final chapters on the Summa Theologica. The reason given was in Thomas's own words: "All that I have written seems as straw compared to what has now been revealed to me." Could you explain why it is that you refer to some of Aquinas' writings to substantiate your proofs of God's existence and yet continue to refute his writings concerning the trinity, using Thomas' own statement that all he had written "seemed as straw"? Also, you compare what he did after his vision with what you did after your vision. Do you recommend that others do the same as you did? Answer
10. You devote one complete section in your book (Beyond the Universe) to the question "WHY NOT WOMEN PRIESTS?" Do you feel the same way about women assuming leadership roles in other religions, such as in the Islamic, Jewish, Hindu, and Buddhist faiths? Answer
